Declan Arrighi is an award-winning* writer,
director, and editor from suburban Australia.
With over five years experience in the film and advertising industries, he has written, directed, and edited a number of short films, music videos, and commercials.
Based in Sydney, he currently works as a freelance director, producer, and editor for agencies such as Paper Moose, Now We Collide, and GoodChat. In these roles, he has created content for a number of clients including Disney, Instagram, Qantas, ESPN, Sydney Opera House, and UNSW. He also works with several of his own independent clients, such as NSW Health and the NSW Department of Education.
Most recently, his short Wonder Down Under premiered at the Flickerfest 32nd International Short Film Festival. It has since toured extensively throughout Australia and beyond.
His other credits include the acclaimed short documentary The Kebab Man, which premiered on SBS in late 2020.
Raised between the fibro houses and smokestacks of Wollongong, Declan has a soft spot for understated Australians and strives to create content that can reach everyone.
